The 12 x 32mm vial has become the industry standard for most chromatography autosamplers (except for headspace autosamplers which accept 20 mm wide autosampler vials). The most common vial is the 9mm screw tread vial, which has an opening large enough to easily pipette while still having the neck and closure compatibility for most autosamplers.
Autosampler vials are not designed to be centrifuged so we cannot support it with the exception of the MRQ & Max Recovery vials due to their thicker walls and “single piece” construction (AQ brand, RSA or RSA-Pro). They can withstand g forces up to 6,000 x g when used in a compatible centrifuge and adapters.
