I place the standard vial on the table, and click the drain with molten glass selected in the tinker tank, but yet it doesn't pour the glass onto the vial. EDIT: It seems that once a vial has held a liquid, it becomes a new item with an NBT tag, and once emptied, it cannot be made into a bigger vial.
